Georgie spotted it glinting in The Falmouth Bookseller and could not help but pick it up. As soon as she read an extract she fell for the romance and longing for the sea many of us feel inside our souls.

Taken from The Draw of the Sea

The Draw of the Sea is a collection of the lives of people from around Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly exploring why the sea is so important to them and how it captures our hearts.

Our country is surrounded by the sea and we all tend to flock to the coast whenever we can to enjoy the communities, lifestyle, people and, more importantly the beauty of the sea. This book captures the feelings it envokes and why many of us feel calm when looking out to the blue horizon.
