As we write this piece the sun is shining after a downpour making the golden tones of the leaves really shine. We are well and truly in the midst of Fall (well, Autumn really but we couldn’t resist the article title!). We thought we’d take a look at some of the things we have loved over the past couple of months, from fashion to food to interiors, lifestyle and beauty, we have it covered.
With Nothing Underneath Fine Brushed Check Shirt – we are huge fans of WNU. The cut of their shirts are second to none. The new brushed cotton offerings are ticking all the boxes at the moment. Soft, classic designs and so versatile.
Per Una Embroidered Velvet Maxi Dress – this beautiful dress in a soft moss green has embroidered detailing, a tiered skirt and gathered cuffs (oh, and pockets!) to make this a fabulous Autumn piece at a really reasonable price.
MOI London Mary Jane Shoes – the problem is choosing a favourite…
Beauty Pie Happy Face Extreme Relief Cica Moisture Cream – this moisturiser is a real lifesaver to help skin deal with season changes, central heating and general sensitivity and flare ups. Unlike many moisturisers aimed at soothing angry skin, this one of gel like but moisturises and calms without being think and greasy. A real must have for us.
Turnbull & Hooch Large Round Enamel Tray – with the entertaining season not far away these beautiful trays are the perfect way to serve drinks and nibbles.
H&M Stoneware Crockery – we were surprised to discover that this pretty, delicate crockery set is from H&M.
Steamery Handheld Clothes Steamer – this has been a real winning purchase, if not the most exciting. It has even been packed for a holiday ready to smooth out the creases from dresses and shirts when they’ve been in a suitcase for hours on end. It instantly refreshes clothes so they are ready to wear.
Donna Hay’s The Fast Five | Shortcuts to Deliciousness – we love Donna Hay’s cookbooks as they always feature achievable recipes which taste delicious. This one is no exception, helping to inspire your mid-week staples and get you out of a cooking rut.
Susannah Constantine Ready for Absolutely Nothing – we’ve got this ready to read. Susannah Constantine had a privileged upbringing but there are always moments behind closed doors we often never see beyond the superficial glitz. This lifts the curtain to her life from having Princess Margaret as a second mother figure to her parents’ struggles with mental health.
